You can find out a lot at http://www.existdance.com - Exist Dance was one of the seminal San Frandisco labels. They went into hiatus for a few years, Tranquility Bass signed to Astralwerks, disappeared for a few years, and then delivered an album that was almost designed to make him get dropped. Some genius stuff in the early records, the newer ones are okay, but a little too dancy and not quite passionate enough for me. "Cantamilla" and "They Came In Peace" by Tranquility Bass are classic songs, and Edem Transmission was very much a stormer at the time (before trance was a dirty word). I think they re-released most of the better back catalog stuff. And there's even "Champion Sound" before the jungle "Champion Sound". So you can casually mention you got whichever remix of "Champion Sound", get your junglist friends all wet in the trousers, and then play them something else. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
